Philadelphia Midnight Run
Independent Herbalife Members from Philadelphia Fuel an Energizing Midnight Run Through the City
It’s only the beginning for the City of Philadelphia and Herbalife!
On June 21, Herbalife members came together to celebrate their shared loves: Philadelphia, health and Herbalife. The City of Brotherly Love has inspired many athletic achievements in the past, and this year’s 5K Midnight Run Pt. 2 did not disappoint. Participating runners met at the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, posed for pictures with the famous “Rocky” statue, and got ready to run the city streets in the early morning hours. And you can be certain that plenty of runners went up and down the Museum’s steps following in Rocky Balboa’s footsteps.
Our Members continue to inspire their communities to lead healthy, active lives and it’s clear that this June event was no different – a whopping 650+ people came out to run! Naeem Turner, a World Team Member and Herbalife Health Coach, organized this successful midnight run. It was hosted by Turner, aka Goldy H, with his #WeOnAMission (WOAM) team and Fox 29 personality Quincy Harris, aka Q Deezy.
Goldy H and Q Deezy had a plan to take runners around the city of Philadelphia. Energy and enthusiasm was high as the crowd got pumped to be taking to the streets at midnight on the longest day of the year. And having well-known Philadelphia radio personalities lead the charge helped! At the sound of the gun, participants set out and ran from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, along the Schuylkill River’s biking and running trail, to the South Street Bridge and back.
The energy of the night was electric with people of all ages and genders coming together to cheer, dance, and of course, run. Check out this video that shows what a success Midnight Run Pt. 2 was!
