Have you heard the news?
Today, the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) announced a new partnership with Herbalife Nutrition to award an annual education scholarship to a promising student seeking an advanced degree in nutrition or related field.
We couldn’t be more excited.
ASN is the global leading scientific society devoted to advancing nutrition research and the creation and translation of nutrition information. Our members and our education activities impact the health of individuals and populations around the globe.
We know dietitians are on the front lines of teaching consumers about the principles of healthy eating and, thus, have directed this scholarship program to Registered Dietitians Nutritionists (RDN) or those intending to become an RDN.
For 2019, applicants must also reside in the United States; be accepted/enrolled in a post-baccalaureate MS, PhD, ScD, DCN, DrPH or clinical health science graduate program; and have an interest in sports nutrition, cardiovascular nutrition, aging, dietary bioactive components, microbiome, vitamins and minerals, wellness nutrition, weight management, behavioral health nutrition, nutrition education for the public and/or public health/community nutrition.

We look forward to presenting the award with Herbalife Nutrition leaders at Nutrition 2019, an immersive education and networking experience for those interested in the world of nutrition. Nutrition 2019 will be held June 8 – 11, 2019 in Baltimore, MD. The 2018 scholarship recipient will receive a complimentary registration to the meeting, as well as an all-expenses paid trip to Herbalife Nutrition’s headquarters in Los Angeles, CA to be determined at a later date.
We are certain there are plenty of brilliant students pursuing their research in nutrition that have amazing projects for the scientific community.
